My approach is simple: rather than directing every pose, I prefer to take a step back and capture moments as they unfold naturally, allowing you and your whānau to just be yourselves without the pressure to pose or perform. Using only natural light in the familiar comfort of your own home, I love to document the love and laughter amidst the chaos — whether the kids are cuddling, cartwheeling or climbing all over you. I’ll most likely always shoot near a window, and may even rearrange a little furniture.

I like to keep it simple. I have 3x packages and you get an in-home session and edited, digital photos in each:

1. 5 Photos – $375

2. 20 photos – $550

3. 35 photos – $750

Depending on your collective energy levels a session is typically 60-90 minutes. This might seem long but it’s the perfect window of time to build a connection that will allow me to get the most beautiful images possible. It also provides ample time for the spontaneous and unplanned moments that make your images authentically you.

Great! Capturing movement and real, lively images is what I’m all about. Let them be them and we’ll roll with whatever happens. The images will reflect your family, just as you are.

Wear something you love, that you feel comfortable and can easily move in. Loose, textured clothing in earthy/neutral colours always look good through the lens. And always always, bare skin wherever possible!

Life happens. Kids get sick, you have a particularly rough night or it all just gets too much – I understand, I’ve been there. Human to human, we’ll work something out and can make a plan for another day.

After your session I will edit a collection of images for you to choose from. I will then deliver the final hi-res image files to you via a password-protected gallery to use however you want. Print to your heart’s content! I can point you in the right direction for quality prints.
